The Shelter: If you have a long stick that you can prop up on a 45-degree angle against a tree branch (or hold up with another stick) simply drape the tarp over it and peg down the ends. The back will wrinkle up where the stick is low to the ground, but if you weigh it down with rocks it should hold against the wind. This system is good for wind and rain, as long as the big opening in the front is pointed in the right direction.
