Tree vs. Fence

For years an epic battle has been fought right beneath our noses. In our towns, in our communities, even in our own backyards, this battle has gone on and on with heavy casualties on both sides. Today, Overhang Adventures brings you exclusive coverage of one of natures most devastating battles with humanity.

My discovery of this flora phenomenon began innocently enough on a walk with my dog Laynee. This is Laynee.

Laynee before discovering the hidden secrets of trees.

Laynee before discovering the hidden secrets of trees.

As we were walking through my building`s backyard we noticed something strange...

I immediately stopped what I was doing, left my dog to fend for herself, and took a closer look. What started as an urge for answers blossomed into a full blown obsession that took me around the city, and brought me deep into the heart of the beast.

The photos I have may shock some viewers, and are not for the faint of heart. What you are about to see is nature`s full fury released upon humanity. Nature`s insatiable urge to reclaim what is rightfully hers, without a care in the world for our own urban hopes and dreams.

Through photography and interviews I hope to bring this issue to light, and raise awareness about an issue that should raise the brows of even the most stoic of readers. Readers beware. The trees are coming.

Tree vs. Fence

This fence happened to get too close to this tree. Without warning the tree grabbed hold and bit the fence. Tree 1 - Mankind 0.

We expect the fence to be fully digested in a matter of decades. And it didn't even see it coming.

This tree didn't give a s**t that there was a fence next to it.

This fence is putting up a good fight holding back this encroaching tree, but time is on the side of the tree.

When asked how it felt about attacking an innocent fence, this tree replied: "What fence!?"

Angered over a lost limb, this tree took its rage out on an unsuspecting fence.

Even in death, this tree was still able to mess up a fence. Zombie trees are a hazard, and our photographer barely escaped with his life. Excuse the image quality.

Graphic content: This tree is actually attacking a fence made of its own dead ancestors. Gruesome.

Thankfully there is evidence, although weak, that the fences are beginning to regroup and fight back.
