Rain, rain, go away! I’m singing in my head on the bus ride up to Tobermory’s Cyprus Lake, Bruce Peninsula. Rain is nice and refreshing but when you need to set up tents and get a campsite organized, it can be tough.
I’ve never regretted bringing a couple extra pairs of socks and a warm sweater for the cold nights and mornings. So as nice and warm as you know it will be during the day, just remember Suns gone? Socks on!

On March 1st, 2016, we were able to give a group of 54 Syrian Refugees the opportunity to go play outside at Arrowhead Provincial Park, with the help of Naturelinx, Parkbus, CultureLink, Parks Ontario, and the Huntsville SRS. We ended up with a lot of faces full of snow, a few hands that needed some thawing out in the warming hut, and a lot of smiling faces.
